Haskin Dies At Bend Hospital
BEND, OR -- The man accused of robbing a Sterling Savings Bank in Redmond died Sunday at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend. A Deschutes County Sheriff's report said Donovan Joel Haskin died in the Intensive Care Unit resulting from injuries he received during a suicide attempt February 3rd. The Jail is currently investigating the incident, and all information will be forwarded to District Attorney Mike Dugan for review.
Haskin was arrested January 29th south of Redmond, after he reportedly robbed the Sterling Savings on SW Veterans Way, and used the money to purchase methamphetamine.
