New Principal Named at Highland Magnet at Kenwood

BEND, OR -- The selection committee chose Paul Dean as the new school principal at Highland Magnet School at Kenwood.
Dean spent the last year as the interim principal at the school. Prior to his work there he was the assistant principal at Cascade Middle School. Dean will assume the role on July 1st.
Meanwhile, The community is invited to meet the finalists for the Bear Creek Elementary School principal position Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. during a forum in the school library.
Candidates will give short presentations followed by a question and answer session with audience members. Attendees will be encouraged to complete a feedback form following the forum.
The finalists for the principal position are Doug Geygan from Ashland, Matthew Montoya from Maricopa, Arizona, Kara Powell from Ontario, and Dan Wolnick from Bend.
