Donato Sardella/Getty Images for L’Oeil du Vert(NEW YORK) — Courteney Cox and Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid made a special announcement on Twitter Thursday night: they’re engaged.
They both tweeted the same selfie, with Cox writing, “I’m engaged to him!” and McDaid stating, “I’m engaged to her!”
The couple was first linked last fall. Musician Ed Sheeran told OMG! Insider in December that he introduced the two.
Cox and McDaid, 37, reportedly celebrated Cox’s 50th birthday earlier this month with a trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands.
The Cougar Town star was previously married to David Arquette. They split in 2010 after 11 years of marriage, but their divorce wasn’t finalized until May of 2013. They have a 10-year-old daughter, Coco.
Arquette is currently involved with Christina McLarty, with whom he welcomed a son in April.
