Marion County Deputies Searching For Missing Boa Constrictor

SALEM, OR — Marion County Sheriff's deputies were called to a Salem neighborhood, to a report of a 10-foot-long red tail boa constrictor that had been missing for four days.  The owners of the 23-year-old female snake named "Nomad," say she may have slithered out a second-story window.  The deputies' search turned up no signs of the snake so they're contacting nearby residents and suggesting they keep a close eye on pets and small children.

The snake is green and tan and, despite its name, doesn't have a red tail.
