(NEW YORK) — Only one film opens nationwide on Friday, and it’s a big one: Transformers: Age of Extinction.
The fourth Transformers film is the first in director Michael Bay’s series that does not star Shia LaBeouf. Instead, Mark Wahlberg headlines the sequel, which is set after the events of 2011’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Long story short, Optimus Prime and the Autobots brace themselves for another action-packed battle to save Earth from destruction.
Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor also star in Transformers: Age of Extinction, which is screening in 3D and IMAX 3D. It’s rated PG-13.
