(WASHINGTON) — Andre Miller will be staying in Washington next season. The Wizards picked up Miller’s $4.6 million options in 2014-15 on Saturday.
Miller’s agent said that the team told him that they’ll be bringing back the veteran guard, who they acquired last season in a trade.
Miller averaged 3.8 points and 3.5 assists in 28 games and provided veteran leadership off the bench for a young Wizards team that made the playoffs for the first time since 2008.
The Wizards also met with center Marcin Gortat on Friday. Gortat is set to be a free agent on July 1.
