County Will Take Input On Busy Intersection Until July 7th

BEND, OR — Deschutes County continues to take input on improvements to the Powell Butte Highway/Neff Rd./Alfalfa Market Rd. intersection east of Bend. Chris Doty, Road Department Director, told KBNW News the busy intersection reports the highest number of crashes in Deschutes County. He said before any changes take place, they want to hear from the people who use those roadways.

“We have a lot of stakeholders that use that intersection that have an experience to relate to with regards to the concepts that could be proposed that could really give us good feedback and insights with regard to how traffic moves through there as well.  So, it is of vital important to hear from the public on this.”

Comments will be taken through Monday July 7th.  To provide input, call (541) 322-7105 or E-mail Doty.
