City and County officials far and wide were in attendance Tuesday afternoon to celebrate Circuit Court Judge Barbara Haslinger’s retirement after nearly 24 years of public service.
“I’d like to say thank you to the voters who have given me the opportunity to serve the community for the last 24 years," Haslinger said.
"I’d like to thank my friends and my staff, my coworkers, and my colleagues; because they are so hardworking and so talented, that they’ve made my life so enjoyable, and I know that the court is in good hands.”
Judge Haslinger was appointed to the District Court in 1990. She became Circuit Judge upon the consolidation of the District and Circuit Courts in 1998.
