REDMOND, OR — A Saturday evening fire destroyed an O’Neil Highway shop and sparked a small brush fire. When crews arrived shortly after 6:30 p.m., they found flames pouring from the 10′ x 40′ building, as well as a 23’ boat and nearby pieces of small equipment on fire. Firefighters worked to contain the structure fire, and prevent the brush fire from spreading.
The shop and boat, valued around $150,000, were total losses in this weekend’s fire. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
