REDMOND, OR — About 2,000 Central Electric Cooperative customers were without power for three hour Tuesday, after a 69,000-volt transmission line failed. Crews said a juniper tree had grown into the line, causing the afternoon failure. Power was restored after several other nearby trees were removed. Those impacted live mainly in the Tumalo area.
