New Cover Oregon Director Earns Hefty Salary

SALEM, OR — The new director of Cover Oregon will have a six-figure base salary.  Aaron Patnode will earn $215,000 (two hundred fifteen thousand) a year, and he will be eligible for performance-based incentive pay of more than $32,000.  Cover Oregon Board Chair Liz Baxter says the salary is appropriate because Patnode will be taking on a lot of risk and leaving a good job behind.
