Online School Program To Host Q&A Panel

Oregon Connections AcademySCIO, OR – Online school program Oregon Connections Academy will host an Online Parent Panel on Tuesday, July 15th from 1 pm to 2 pm.

The panel will give parents the chance to see what it’s like to have a child enrolled in a virtual school, and speak to parents who already have students enrolled in the program.

Oregon Connections Academy is a K-12 full-time, tuition free, online public school which served nearly 3,700 students across the state during the 2013-2014 school year.

The session will allow new families who do not have students currently attending the school to ask questions through a live Internet chat, and to hear about parent experiences.

“Oregon Connections Academy is the perfect fit for my family and I look forward to sharing my experience with virtual schooling,” said Paula Foster, mother and Learning Coach for two Oregon Connections Academy students.”

In addition to the Online Parent Panel, several other free online and in-person parent meetings and information sessions are being held statewide to meet the growing number of requests for information from families interested in attending Oregon Connections Academy.
