Body Of Missing Washington Woman Recovered

LEWISTON, ID — The body of a missing Washington state woman has been recovered on the Oregon side of the Snake River.  The Idaho Department of Fish and Game found the body of Sharon Mathews, 65, Dayton, WA.  Mathews went missing June 6th from a campsite near the river.  Reports state that the woman was last seen with her dog at the Geneva Bar campsite with a jet boat. Mathews chose to stay at the campsite while the rest of her party traveled upriver.  When group members returned, Mathew’s shoes were found on the beach and her dog was in the boat.
