Kyron Horman’s Former Stepmom Seeks New Name

ROSEBURG, OR — The former stepmother of missing Portland boy Kyron Horman has gone to court to change her name.  Terri Lynn Moulton Horman, now living in Roseburg, filed a petition June 30th in Douglas County Circuit Court to change her name to Claire Stella Sullivan.  A hearing was set for August 4th.

The News-Review reports the person answering the phone number Horman listed on the petition hung up when a reporter identified herself.  No reason was listed in court papers for the name change.

Seven-year-old Kyron Horman vanished from school on June 4, 2010, after his stepmother dropped him off, leading to a massive search. Investigators have long focused on Terri Horman but have not named her as a suspect.
