Ochoco Complex Continues To Grow

072414.OchocoPRINEVILLE, OR — Fire officials say the Ochoco Complex burning east of Prineville continues to expand.  The four fires have burned 6,506 acres and are 22% contained.  Officials said the arrival of additional resources Wednesday allowed for significant progress on the frontlines.

The Fox Fire made a run late Wednesday before the arrival of thunderstorms and some much needed rain.  Firefighters held the Lava Fire Wednesday and continued mop-up efforts.  The Antelope and Broadway fires are now in patrol status.
