State Police To Get New Commander At OSU Campus

OSPBadgeSALEM, OR — The Oregon State Police campus office at Oregon State University will have a new commander starting August 1st.

Lt. Teresa Bloom will take over command following the transfer of Lt. Steve Mitchell to the OSP Coos Bay Area Command office. OSP Superintendent Richard Evans Jr. announced the appointment Friday. 

Lt. Bloom, 42, joined OSP in 2004 in Coos Bay. In 2006, Bloom transferred to Roseburg. In 2010, she was promoted to sergeant in Roseburg. Bloom transferred to an inspector position in the Office of Professional Standards at OSP General Headquarters in Salem in 2012.
