EUGENE, OR — Oregon State Police troopers continue to investigate Saturday morning’s motorcycle crash that killed one man in eastern Lane County. Crews were called to Highway 126 where Mark Frederick Rickman, 58, Vida, lost control negotiating a curve. His bike went into the ditch, struck a roadside reflector, returned to the highway and crashed. Rickman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Highway 126 was closed for an hour Saturday morning and reduced to one lane for three more hours as crews responded.
