Man Sentenced To 15 Years For Attack On Prosecutor’s Office

MEDFORD, OR — The man who admitted to strapping an explosive device to a propane tank and throwing it into the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office will spend the next 15 years in prison.  Alan Leroy McVay was sentenced in Medford Monday.

He admitted he threw the make-shift pipe bomb thorough the DA’s window in November in hopes to delay his burglary sentencing.  The device broke a window, but it didn’t get into the office and didn’t explode.
