Bend woman once backed by Democrats for state house under investigation

admin-ajax-14-4

The Bend woman once backed by prominent Democrats for a state house seat is now under investigation.

The Bulletin reports the State Department of Justice is looking into missing money at Amanda La Bell’s now defunct non-profit diaper bank and the lie she told on the state voter’s pamphlet.

She dropped out of the race, but her name remains on the ballot along with those of the Republican candidate and Democrat Nathan Boddie, who’s accused of sexual misconduct.
