A Democratic state senator says sexual harassment is still a problem at the Oregon Capitol.
OPB reports Senator Sara Gelser made the comments on Friday, more than a year after two interns reported being sexually harassed by former Republican Senator Jeff Kruse, causing him to resign.
Gelser, who brought the allegations against Kruse forward, says she’s been the victim of retaliation and is still concerned for interns and legislative staffers at the Capitol.
