A 16-year-old Redmond girl faces drunk driving charges following a wreck.

She and two Prineville teens in the car with her early Saturday morning were hurt when the car slid on an icy Canal Boulevard and hit a utility pole, slicing the pole in half.

Their injuries are not life threatening.

Deschutes county Sheriff’s Deputies say the girl behind the wheel was drunk.
