Free Bus Rides Coming Monday, in Bend

Cascades East Transit (CET) celebrates Earth Day with free rides on Monday, April 22 on all Bend Fixed-Route and Community Connector buses.

Try taking free transit to the following Earth Day events in Bend on Monday:

Tentsile (50 SE Scott St., Bend) from 5-8 pm for live bluegrass music
Outside In (845 NW Wall St, Bend) from 10 am-6 pm. Commute using transportation options to win prizes
CET buses help reduce congestion and air pollution across our region, resulting in improved health and quality of life for Central Oregon residents.

Public transportation use in the United States saves 4.2 billion gallons of gasoline annually. Communities that invest in public transportation reduce the nation’s carbon emissions by 37 million metric tons annually (American Public Transportation Association, 2017).

Dial-A-Ride and Mt. Bachelor bus services are not included in the Earth Day free transit rides event—riders on those services are expected to pay full fares.
