Bend Boy Caught With Airsoft Guns

A 12-year-old boy was arrested after allegedly threatening other kids with an airsoft pistol near Pilot Butte Middle School. Bend Police received multiple Tuesday afternoon near the 1700 Block of NE Neff Road and Larkspur Trail.

“Officers were able to locate the juvenile a short distance away on the 1800 block of NE Neff Road,” according to Bend Police. “The investigation led to the recovery of two airsoft pistols and a small amount of marijuana. No injuries were reported and all involved parties have been identified. There is no threat to the community. The Bend-La Pine School District was notified and the juvenile was released to his family.”

Charges of disorderly conduct, menacing, and minor in possession are being referred to the Deschutes County Juvenile Department.
