Redmond Woman Arrested With Over Seven Pounds of Meth

A 59-year-old Redmond woman was arrested after more than seven pounds of methamphetamine were seized during a traffic stop in Jefferson County last week. According to Redmond Police, on Thursday, February 12, at approximately 7:11 p.m., Redmond Police Department (RPD) Street Crimes Detectives concluded an ongoing investigation with the arrest of an individual for a commercial quantity of methamphetamine, along with evidence of drug sales.

The arrest was made after a traffic stop in Jefferson County, Oregon, for a traffic violation led to Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) Detection K-9 Keira, alerting on the vehicle.  A search of the vehicle yielded more than seven pounds of methamphetamine being seized.  The investigation indicated the drugs were destined to be delivered in Deschutes County.
