Multiple resources from the La Pine Rural Fire Protection District and Crescent Rural Fire District responded to the report of a garage fire, Wednesday afternoon (Feb. 20, 2019).
Deschutes County Dispatch says that a fire, on 15982 Falcon Lane was actively burning a detached garage and threatening the adjacent home.
Fire crews arrived to find active fire in a carport with flame spreading to the primary
residence.
The owner/occupants of the home discovered the fire and evacuated to safety with
no injuries. Fire crews commenced to locate and extinguish the fire in the carport and primary residence.
Cause of the fire is believed to be electrical, however, exact cause is yet to be determined.
