Bend Man Arrested For Bike Theft, Faces Other Charges

Bend Police Stock #1BEND, OR — A Bend man was arrested Wednesday afternoon for allegedly stealing a bicycle in the northeast part of town.  Officers were called out shortly after 4:30 p.m., after a witness saw Sean Kyle Applegate, 26, take a bike and run from the area.  The Bend K9 Unit responded, and found Applegate near NE 6th St. and Burnside Ave.  He was arrested without incident and taken to the Deschutes County Jail.

In addition to the bicycle theft, Applegate faces additional charges for several crimes that have taken place in NE Bend over the past month.
