Bridge 99 Complex Closing In On 6K Acres

0723.Bridge.99SISTERS, OR — The Bridge 99 Complex burning near Camp Sherman grew slightly Tuesday.  The two fires have burned 5,915 acres, a 67 acres increase from Monday.  The 765 firefighters have the two blazes 31% contained.

Because of the progress made over the past 24 hours, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office lowered many of the Evacuation Notices issued last week.
