iStock/Thinkstock(TAMPA, Fla.) — The U.S. military conducted four airstrikes against Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) targets in Iraq Monday, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said.
All of the strikes were west-southwest of Kirkuk. In total, two ISIS vehicles and an ISIS tank were destroyed, and an ISIS Humvee was damaged.
The attack, fighter and remotely piloted aircraft used in the attacks all managed to exit the areas safely.
Since Aug. 8, CENTCOM says it has carried out 190 airstrikes across Iraq.
