Redmond Police Say Local Subway Was Held Up

Redmond, Ore. – On 12/23/2014, at approximately 08:06 am, officers from the Redmond Police Department responded to the report of a robbery that had just occurred at the North Redmond Subway Location, located at 520 NW Fir Avenue. When officers arrived on scene it was reported that an unknown adult male, described as Hispanic, between 5’8’’-5’10’’, with a medium build, short black hair, dark colored eyes, wearing an orange sweatshirt, a mask, and pajama style pants, had brandished a fixed bladed kitchen style knife and demanded money from employees at the business. The male received an undisclosed amount of money and left the business on foot, running from the area.

As a result of canvasing the area, reviewing video from multiple businesses, and completing a canine track, it was determined the suspect had fled the area in a southeast direction, towards the area of the Redmond Fire Department.

The Redmond Police Department is requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the suspect in this robbery. It is requested that any person with information regarding this, or any other crime contact the Redmond Police Department at (541)504-3400, or through the non-emergency dispatch number at (541) 693-6911.
