Fire is expected to continue to burn out in Shitike Canyon and could burn over Shitike Butte Lookout.

Crews will look for another place to build line in the canyon and try to use roads and new line to control fire spread.

Winds are predicted again for the weekend, along with some cooler temperatures and possible rain.
