Bend Police Make Two Arrests In Bike Theft Case

Bend, Ore. – The City of Bend Police Department has experienced a noticeable increase in stolen bicycles throughout the past year.

Three specific stolen cases have ended with the recovery of stolen bicycles with the arrest of two people: 27 year old Benjamin Lamphere and 43 year old Melissa Johnson.

With the increase in thefts, the Bend Police Department has been focusing on recovering stolen bicycles and being proactive in preventing future thefts.
