Lionsgate(LOS ANGELES) — Here’s a look at the new movies opening nationwide Friday:
- The Last Witch Hunter — Vin Diesel is a witch hunter who once took out the evil Queen Witch, who has been resurrected and seeks payback. Elijah Wood, Rose Leslie and Michael Caine also star. Rated PG-13.
- Rock the Kasbah — Bill Murray is a rock manager who takes his client on a USO tour of Afghanistan. After she ditches him, he discovers a young talent. Kate Hudson, Zooey Deschanel, Danny McBride, Scott Caanand Bruce Willis star. Rated R.
- Jem and the Holograms — Based on the 1980s cartoon, the story follows four sisters who become music superstars. Aubrey Peeples, Stefanie Scott, Aurora Perrineau, Hayley Kiyoko, Ryan Guzman, Molly Ringwald and Juliette Lewis star. Rated PG.
- Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension — A family is disturbed in their new home following the discovery of a video camera. Rated R.

- Steve Jobs — Michael Fassbender portrays the late Apple visionary. Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen and Jeff Daniels also star in the film, which was written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Danny Boyle. Rated R.
