Dave M. Benett/WireImage(NEW YORK) — Ever wonder what it might be like to get intimate with Leonardo DiCaprio? Margot Robbie shot her first sex scene in the 2013 film The Wolf of Wall Street opposite the actor — an experience she describes in the August edition of Vanity Fair.
“…I hadn’t done a proper sex scene before,” recalls the 26-year-old actress. “I’d done scenes where it’s leading into sex or sex had just finished, but I hadn’t done a start-to-finish sex scene like I did in Wolf. That was my first.”
Robbie notes being “practically naked” during a shower scene while working on an Australian film, “but it wasn’t anywhere as much as in Wolf.”
One of the strangest parts of the experience was having “tons of people” watching as they filmed the scene, a situation the Australian actress describes as “awkward.”
In spite of that, Robbie handled the situation like a true pro.
“There isn’t an option,” she says. “It’s just like, this is what you need to do — get on with it. The sooner you do it, the sooner you can stop doing it.”
Robbie currently stars opposite Alexander Skarsgård in The Legend of Tarzan. She also plays Harley Quinn in the upcoming film Suicide Squad, opening nationwide August 5.
