Redmond School District After-School Activities Canceled 12-8-16

Redmond, Ore. – Due to tonight’s forecasted weather conditions, all after-school activities and events will be canceled. The Redmond School District is following the weather very closely and working with ODOT and Redmond Police Department to determine a plan for tomorrow.

Once a decision has been made regarding school delays or closures the district will communicate that to families immediately through our automated phone system, website and social media.

RSD will continue with regular daytime operations through the remainder of the school day. School buses will run on their regular schedules and buildings will remain open until all students have left for the day. Parents are welcome to pick up students at any point during the school day.

As a reminder, you can receive text alerts from Redmond School District regarding inclement weather delays or closures by texting “YES” to the number 67587.

Please note, it may take up to 48 hours for texts to begin so follow their website, Facebook and Twitter for updates.
