No snow means no work for snow removal companies

No snow means no work for the companies that provide snow removal.

One landscaping business that typically keeps busy by getting rid of snow during the winter tells KTVZ that it had to lay off employees.

The lack of snow is also bad for ski areas and retailers that sell things like snow shovels.

The Bend Department of Public Works, however doesn’t mind the dry winter.

It’s saving money from not having to deal with snow and completing road projects that would normally need to be put on hold during the winter.
