KLAMATH FALLS, OR — Crews in Southern Oregon have the Bryant Fire 70% contained, with complete containment expected by Thursday. The fire, 20 miles east of Klamath Falls, has burned nearly 1,400 acres. Roughly 800 firefighters are on the front lines of the fire burning state and private timberland. The blaze has not threatened any homes or caused any injuries. The estimated cost of fighting the Bryant Fire is near $3 million.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
