Wall Street Set New Highs Again, Positive News on Job Creation

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Wednesday was another positive day for Wall Street, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 each finished at new highs.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished the day up 20.17 to 16976.24, not far from the elusive 17000 milestone.

The Nasdaq dropped 0.92 to 4457.73, while the S&P 500 ended up 1.3 to 1974.62.

More good news on Wednesday for those looking for jobs, as the ADP National Employment Report showed 281,000 jobs created in June, up from 179,000 in May.
