One Arrested For Breaking Into Vince Genna Pro Shop

BEND, OR — One man was arrested for stealing an estimated $10,000 worth of merchandise from the Vince Genna Pro Shop.  Bend police officers were called to the baseball stadium Sunday morning, after a suspect or suspects enter the shop and stole a long list of items.  On Monday, officers were notified a man, Andrew Thomas Sherrell, 27, was trying to return the stolen items at the Bend Big 5.  The problem arose when an employee noticed they did not sell the items Sherrell was trying to return.

Sherrell was arrested and taken to the Deschutes County Jail.  In addition to stolen merchandise, Sherrell had methamphetamine with him when he was arrested.

Bend PD said their investigation is ongoing.  Anyone with any information about the Vince Genna break-in is asked to call (541) 693-6911.
