Cannabis Conference Comes To Portland Saturday

PORTLAND, OR — A month before Oregon voters decide whether to make recreational marijuana legal statewide, the First International Cannabis Business Conference will take place in Portland.

“Legalization is really inevitable. If it’s going to come to Oregon, it needs to be done in a responsible way, and Measure 91 really puts in the rules and regulations in place to regulate responsibly.”

Measure 91 chief petitioner Anthony Johnson is also working closely with this weekend’s Business Conference. He says that industry experts will gather this weekend alongside lawyers and politicians with one common goal.

“To discuss how best to implement good cannabis industry laws that work for the industry while at the same time take into account the legitimate concerns of your neighbors and your community.”

The International Cannabis Business Conference takes place this Saturday and Sunday at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.
