Proposed Pipeline Would Cross Nearby National Forests

Klamath Falls, Ore. – A proposed Jordon Cove Energy (JCE) and Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline (PCGP) project may connect from Klamath Falls to Coos Bay, Oregon, potentially crossing National Forest System Lands on the Fremont-Winema National Forest.

The JCE and PCGP Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) will analyze potential pipeline impacts to listed species, vegetation, habitat, wetlands, bodies of water and visual resources.

In addition, a public meeting is scheduled for the DEIS in Klamath Falls, Oregon, Dec. 12, 2014, at Oregon Institute of Technology. A meeting time has yet to be determined.

To review and/or comment on the DEIS, information is available on the Web at:  www.ferc.gov.
