RB Mike Davis Announces He Will Enter Draft

Streeter Lecka/Getty Images(SHREVEPORT, La.) — South Carolina running back Mike Davis announced he will forgo his senior season and enter the 2015 NFL Draft.

The 5-foot-9, 216 pound Davis has rushed for 2,385 yards during his three seasons as a Gamecock, including 1,183 yards last year. Davis will play in the Duck Commander Independence Bowl on Saturday against Miami. If he rushes for 73 yards, he will join George Rogers as the only players in South Carolina history with multiple 1,000-yard seasons.

Miami (FL) (6-6) and South Carolina (6-6) will square off at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday. You can watch that on ABC.
