(HOUSTON) — Guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson each had 27 points as Golden State (32-6) defeated the Houston Rockets (28-13) on Saturday night, 131-106.
Curry was 9-of-18 from the field and 2-of-8 from beyond the arc. He also contributed 11 assists and seven rebounds.
The Warriors took a 64-59 lead into the third quarter, where they proceeded to outscore the Rockets, 38-21. They finished the frame on a 12-0 run; with power forward David Lee pouring in eight points.
Rockets center Dwight Howard scored a team-high 23 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
The Warriors have now won an NBA leading 24 games by double digits.
