Bend Police Arrest 3 Teen Fugitives

Bend, Ore. – Yesterday Bend Police Officers obtained information regarding the whereabouts of 3 wanted subjects who had run away from the Eastern Oregon Academy Juvenile Facility in Hines, Oregon. Information also indicated the 3 were connected with the theft of a vehicle belonging to the facility.

Narrative: The vehicle, a 2004 Chevrolet Surburban, was taken on 02/01/15 and abandoned in the area of Scalehouse Loop in Bend. Kuhn, Robinson and the unidentified juvenile male were suspects in the vehicle theft. Information officers learned through investigation led them to room 9 at the Bend Value Inn.

The suspects refused to come to the door or answer officer’s orders to exit the room. A search warrant was granted and the three were taken into custody without incident and lodged on an Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle charge and warrants.
