Bend Police Warn Of New Scam

Bend, Ore. – The Bend Police Department has recently learned about a new scam. An unknown male suspect is calling local businesses in Bend advising they are a representative from “Bend Water and Sewer.” The male suspect indicates the business is delinquent and instructs payment be sent to an address outside of Oregon.

The Bend Police Department would like to remind citizens of Bend to be cognizant of requests for money. If it sounds suspicious or seems “too good to be true” please verify the validity.
