Sisters Meeting Focuses On Local Forestlands

Sisters, Ore. – The Deschutes County Forestland Classification Committee has called a public meeting at the following time and location:

DATE: Monday March 9, 2015
TIME: 9 a.m.- noon
LOCATION: Oregon Department of Forestry – Sisters Office
16721 Pine Tree Lane Sisters, OR 97759

The purpose of this meeting is to convene the Deschutes County Forestland Classification Committee and continue preliminary designation of lands in Deschutes County that may be classified as forestland protected by the Oregon Department of Forestry.

The Committee will be focusing on lands in the Sisters, Cline Buttes and Tumalo Areas.

Please note that meeting locations may change over time. The Committee intends to try to hold meetings in or near the community that they are reviewing at that time.
