JupiterImages/Photos.com(NEW YORK) — The Philadelphia Eagles signed cornerback Walter Thurmond for a one-year deal, the team announced on Wednesday.
Thurmond spent last season with the Giants and prior to that was in Seattle for four years.
Thurmond tore his pectoral muscle in Week 2 last year and missed the final 14 games of the season, but will be reuniting with former Seahawks teammate Bryon Maxwell, who signed a six-year contract this week with the team.
Thurmond was a key player in Seattle’s Super Bowl run in 2013 and is also a former Oregon Duck.
