Bend, Ore. – Jeff Robberson of Robberson Ford took local media on a tour of the much larger Robberson Ford building today. Robberson says the 5 million dollar expansion was mostly on budget and on time.
The building went from 6100 square feet to about 15,000 square feet. The much larger dealership blends the architecture style and direction from Ford with the local beauty of Central and Eastern Oregon. Local photos featuring points of interest are hung in the hallways, while the modern architecture is from the corporate playbook.
The expansion also includes an enclosed area for new car buyers to learn how to work all those gadgets and special features on the new models.
In another area, the new facility uses the latest in high technology to check and see within minutes if a car is out of alignment. And, people with electric cars can also charge up at one of the electric car stations on site.
Robberson says one thing he doesn’t like about his new office is that he loses his view of the mountains.
