(CLEVELAND) — The Cleveland Indians activated outfielder Nick Swisher from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday.
Swisher missed the first month of the season rehabbing from bilateral knee surgery that cut his 2014 season short last August. In a rehab assignment with the Columbus Clippers, he batted .375 with two doubles, one home run and 5 RBIs across six games.
To make room on the major league roster, the Indians optioned outfielder Tyler Holt to Triple-A Columbus.
