A Portland woman is in serious condition after being struck in crosswalk on 82nd Ave near Johnson Creek Blvd.
Portland, Ore. – Today at about 12:20 PM, OSP Troopers responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on HWY 213 (82nd Ave) near SE Overland Street. According to Senior Trooper Jason Bledsoe, 54 year old Christine HARBACHECK of Portland , was crossing 82nd Ave using a designated crosswalk when she was struck by a 2013 Lexus SUV operated by 43 year old Justin VU of Portland.
HARBACHECK, who suffered possible head trauma, was transported to Oregon Health Sciences Hospital where she is in serious condition.
VU was cited for Failure to Yield to Pedestrian in Crosswalk. OSP was assisted by Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and Clackamas County Fire Department.
