Buda Mendes/Getty Images(PHILADELPHIA) — Philadelphia is preparing for Pope Francis’ visit this fall with a variety of souvenirs.
The City of Brotherly Love is already gearing up for the papal visit and the World Meeting of Families with souvenirs to sell, including Pope Francis t-shirts, keychains, and tote bags. Buyers can also purchase religious items like holy medals and rosaries, or a life-size cutout of the pope for $120.
“I’m looking forward to making my first purchase,” said Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter. “I can assure you it will be for my mother.”
The World Meeting of Families is held every three years and is the world’s largest gathering of Catholic families.
